Fall Recipe Roundup
A roundup of some of my favorite fall recipes.
There’s only one time of year that I ask for just a *tad* bit of pity for the fact that I live in Hawaii.
Fall.
I am pretty sure that I love the autumn season more than the average person, yet, unless I travel, I don’t really get to experience it at all. (any sympathy yet?) So, while we continue to have our tropical balmy evenings, and the ocean is bath-water warm, I tend to whine and complain a teensy bit around October and November. (guessing no sympathy.) 🙂
But alas, I won’t go there today. No, no. I have lived in Hawaii long enough (this is my 19th year!) to have learned to live without fall. Instead I have learned to create my own micro-climate of fall in my own little Hawaiian home:
I crank my A/C and turn on some fall-jazz (not sure but that’s what I tell Alexa to play.) I light some cinnamon-and pumpkin-scented candles, and then start cooking up all of the fall recipes. It may not be true autumn, but it works for me.
So, while I prepare my heart and home for my own fall season, I thought I would share a delicious collection of fall recipes with you. And I’m telling you: This list will NOT let you down.
I’ve got recipes ranging from breakfast to dessert, and everything in-between. The Fall Charcuterie Boards are just dreamy. {I’m suddenly craving a girl’s night with a chick-flick, fall charcuterie boards, and some festive fall beverages (see link below). Who’s with me!? }

Speaking of charcuterie boards… (Warning: Brief rabbit trail ahead…)
Last week I had the privilege of speaking at a Women’s event for my church. It was one of the most lovely nights of my life at the most beautiful home, right on the beach. There were white lights, lots of flowers, candles, and yes — charcuterie boards filled with everything you can dream of! To top it all off, my friend, the incredibly talented Hoku Clements flew in from California to share her incredible music with us. I spoke on “Upstream parenting” and there was prayer and laughter and sweet moments between women. Oh my heart was so full at the end of the night.
I’ll share a few photos of the night down below… 😉
