Women’s Wellness
With a background in sports medicine (and my own experience navigating these waters,) I am so grateful for the chance to support women in their wellness journey!
If we feel good, we are more apt to show up well in life (and lead our kids to do the same)! You can find topics on my podcast relating to hormones, pelvic floor, and weight issues (with much more planned ahead). *Feel free to reach out on which topics related to women’s wellness you are most interested in!
If you’d like to receive specific encouragement and updates about new things related to women’s wellness, you can join my growing list here! And when you do, you’ll get immediate access to my new download!
While I know diet, weight, and exercise are not the only factor in a woman’s wellbeing, it is a huge part of my story and I am happy to share some keys that have helped me in this area! (and will apply to many other issues!)
My passion for wellness…
I studied sports medicine in college and have spent much of my life working as a fitness professional and trainer. My husband is a doctor and we are both passionate about health and fitness, balance, and moderation! I love to encourage others to embrace a healthy lifestyle — body, mind, and spirit! (more on my story, a little further down this page!)
I wrote a book a few years ago, which has transformed thousands of people’s lives. (glory to God!) It is called The Secret of Your Naturally Skinny Friends (you have to read it to understand the title –– 😉) It’s a tiny book which you can read in an afternoon!
I want to support you in your women’s wellness journey! I want to talk more about everything from PMS to menopause, skin care, to a healthy approach to food and exercise!
Leave your name and email below to receive a few encouraging emails and to be notified when I have big news to share!
You’ll also receive my new printable download, sharing 5 KEY things I did as I found food and exercise freedom, and my ideal weight. 🙂
A slice of my story…
I have always been passionate about health, fitness, and balanced living. I studied Sports Medicine in college (Pepperdine University), and I’ve spent most of my life working part-time as a professional fitness instructor and a personal trainer. (Also, my husband is a doctor, which means I answer my friends medical questions by default. :))
Even with all of the head knowledge, however, it took me many years to find my own healthy relationship with food, exercise, and my body. Finally, after my 2nd son was born (over 20 years ago) I set out to overcome my hangups and to give up dieting for-ever…I found a new way to approach food and exercise, and discovered what I now call the “secret of your naturally skinny friends.” Within a few months I was happy, healthy, and found myself at my ideal body weight. And 16 years (and two kids!) later, I remain at the same exact weight.
Now, I love to share the insights and encouragement I have found with anyone who is trying to lose weight, get fit, or achieve a healthy balanced lifestyle!
I share my story, and the “secrets” I discovered in my little book: “The Secret of Your Naturally Skinny Friends!” You can click on this BOOK PAGE to read more about the book or go directly to AMAZON to purchase it! 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping in!
