  1. I heard this podcast a few months ago. It was wonderful. I would really like to introduce some of the materials you used to my son. Have you created a list of resources that we can access yet? Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and insight.

    1. oh thank you so much. I am working on a list which will fit into something a tad bigger soon. Sorry to make you wait — but stay tuned! (Meanwhile, how old is your son? — I’d be happy to offer a few recommendations here! :))

Please please, where can I find a list of recommended ted talks, books and other material that your boys used for their character building????!! Please let us know!

    1. Oh bless you. 🙂 I’m wondering — did you read Boy Mom yet? there are tons of resources in there, including a list of books for boys in the “influence” chapter. I did not share the list my son used when we did this initially because it was quite a few years ago and I knew I could come up with some updated resources. My husband and I are currently working on something for parents who want more support for the topic of raising kids of character so hang in there — hopefully it won’t be much longer til it is avaialbe (and it WILL have a list in it! :)) Blessings —

    1. Oh thank you! I’m getting lots of requests for this. We will work on something to share a list very soon! 🙂 Hoping I can get my boys on an episode to talk about all of their best recommendations and we’ll share a list then! Sorry to make you wait but I’m really excited to share it!

Yes!!!! This would be so helpful, I too would also love a list of ted talks that discuss character or maybe some follow worthy social media accounts for young men. So thankful for your book, podcast, and all your amazing resources, Thank you Monica!

  4. Thanks for that, Monica, absolutely loved your idea of getting the teenager to listen to or read something encouraging about building character every day and journal it. Think I’m going to try that with my 16 year old!
