Pointing our Sons to the One True God {Episode 88 with Carl Laferton}
Kids today are faced with a huge range of different views on who God is (or isn’t). How can they be sure who’s got it right? Oh this is a difficult part of our current parenting reality, isn’t it? And one we are wise to invest time and prayer into! While we’ve had many conversations in our family on that topic, I am so very grateful for helpful resources to make tough topics like this a little easier to tackle! I think story – especially stories from the Bible — are the greatest tool we have to help our kids understand God and His character. Jesus did it, we should too!
Carl Laferton, best-selling author of The Garden, The Curtain, and the Cross, just released a brand new children’s book called The God Contest. This book retells two extraordinary events in history when the God of the Bible proved himself to be the One True God. And in today’s episode, Carl joins us to talk about the stories and why they are so important! I think you’re going to love this conversation!
