A Refreshing Approach to School, Family, and Life {Episode 70 with Corinne Gold}
I’m calling this week’s Boy Mom Podcast episode a big breath of fresh air for all…of…us. 😊 Whether you have boys or girls, whether you homeschool, distance school, or aren’t sure what you’re doing for school, I think just hearing my guest, Corinne Gold, share perspectives from her life will be incredibly refreshing to everyone!
Corinne is my real-life friend here in Hawaii, and it’s my honor to share her with you! She recently had a baby BOY after three girls, and I am so inspired by her relaxed, confident and intentional way of approaching school, family, and LIFE. Corinne was born and raised here in Hawaii, and was one of five kids in her own family growing up. She has done a lot of modeling, (though you won’t hear her mention that, she’s way too humble,) and she works part time as a flight attendant. But she is mostly a super happy, beach-loving, sourdough-making, book-reading, inspiring (homeschooling) mom and wife.
Corinne’s husband Aaron is also an amazing guy– he currently holds the Guinness Book World Record for surfing the BIGGEST WAVE in the world (what!?) (SEE VIDEO BELOW) and has been a role model to my boys.
I originally reached out to Corinne to invite her on to chat about her baby boy, Jaxon, for part of my Summer Series (celebrating raising boys in all of the seasons,) so we do touch on that, but I realized she had even more to offer. We all need some refreshing right now and I think you’ll feel like Corinne is your new friend after this interview! Perhaps this conversation will help bring some balance to anyone who is currently feeling allofthestress over curriculums, schedules, school, and life.
I encourage you to grab your earbuds, take your tea out on the porch (or just take a walk) and enjoy this conversation!
