When you hear the word LENT, what comes to mind? Perhaps you have observed Lent for years, or you typically give something up (fast) for Lent. Or, if you’re like a lot of us, you might have always thought of Lent as something merely “religious”… or like an old fashion ritual that is no longer relevant.
But in the past few years I have noticed that Lent has become more and more of a thing…something people are talking about, focusing on, and really embracing. And I wanted to learn more about it.
I wanted to dive into this topic so that we might all learn a little more about “What Lent IS” and how we can use this season as a time to grow in our faith both individually and as a family. My friend Asheritah Ciuciu joins is on the podcast today to help us understand this spiritual observance, and oh-my-goodness, she blows my mind! I hope you find this conversation as inspiring as I did!

More about Asheritah:
Asheritah Ciuciu is a bestselling author, national speaker, and missional entrepreneur. She is a wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She is a recovering perfectionist.
Growing up in church, Asheritah thought spending time with Jesus meant an hour alone each day to study and pray—and this formulaic approach got harder to maintain the fuller her life became. But she learned that Jesus welcomes us to come to Him messy bun, sticky hands, crumby floors and all. Her greatest mission is to help busy women like you and me find joy in Jesus—right where we are.
See her darling kids proud of their new devotional. 🙂
I hope you enjoy this episode and please do share it with all of your friends and family (not just boy moms this time!)
