If you’re like my husband and I were, you might find that when kids are young gathering them to do “family devotions” is more torture than blessing. Kids are squirmy and complainy and most of the time I found it much more pleasant to just read the Bible alone than with one (or two or three…) of the kids.
But today’s guest, best-selling author, Asheritah Ciuciu has a most- magical, gentle-and-quiet way of making devotions sound like a totally do-able family activity. I LOVE that she is teaching us all of this while her kids are all actually quite young still! She’s teaching it because she’s doing it! You’re going to love her.

More about Asheritah:
Asheritah Ciuciu is a bestselling author, national speaker, and missional entrepreneur. She is a wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She is a recovering perfectionist.
Growing up in church, Asheritah thought spending time with Jesus meant an hour alone each day to study and pray—and this formulaic approach got harder to maintain the fuller her life became. But she learned that Jesus welcomes us to come to Him messy bun, sticky hands, crumby floors and all. Her greatest mission is to help busy women like you and me find joy in Jesus—right where we are.
How darling is this family?…
Here’s to a wonderful Advent season and many sweet days with your family and friends. Here’s to time in God’s Word, great food, and Holidays to remember for a lifetime.
Blessings and hugs,
