Practical Tips for a Tech-Smart Holiday with Your Kids

I’ve heard from a lot of parents over nearly ten years (10!? 😯) that I’ve been writing online. I’ve learned about the things that frustrate and challenge parents the most.  And there is no doubt that technology and screen time are high up on that list.  Especially after this year of living, parenting, and schooling in a pandemic. The struggle, my friends, is so very real.

With Christmas break just ahead of us, I wanted to offer a practical episode to help all of us anticipate the challenges that come with more downtime, more indoors-time, and more potential…screen time.  I know how it feels to wrap up the holidays with regrets and I’m slowly learning (like, really slowly!) to be more proactive about the areas that tend to trip us up.  Like technology.

In this week’s episode I offer some practical advice about making a plan to set boundaries on screen time before we are thick in the middle of the holidays.  I think this alone can be a game-changer for your holidays.

Then I share something SUPER SPECIAL I HAVE AVAILABLE TO YOU THIS WEEK ONLY!

This week I am offering my brand new RAISING TECH-SMART KIDS MINI-COURSE for $25!

It is a self-paced course, with bite-sized pieces of what parents have told me they need most…with no added fluff or overwhelm.  There’s a section on screen time guidelines and resources, and a section on social media, and video games.  You can buy it now to grab what you need for the holidays  (perhaps my list of “100 Non-Screen Activities you can do Indoors”? 😀) and save the rest for later.  I could go on and on about how much research, work, and love went into the mini-course, but instead you can CLICK ON THIS PAGE TO READ ALL ABOUT IT AND SIGN UP!!  Doors close on Friday (the 11th) so don’t wait!!

You can find the Boy Mom Podcast on all of the podcast platforms…here are just a few of them:

iTunes (now called Apple Podcasts)

Google Play

Spotify

Or you can listen right here! 🙂
