Hey Friends!

I’ve got a great podcast episode for you…But first!!  I just have to share my joy:

The Character Training Course doors are now open!!

(from Monday, Sept. 28th – Friday, October 2nd!)

I hope you can CLICK HERE TO HOP OVER and have a look, and become a part of the character training course!
Note: And if you’re catching these show notes after-the-fact, 😉 no stress, leave your name and email address right here and you’ll be first to know next time I open the course!

Now back to today’s podcast episode:

DADS AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN OUR KIDS….
As we talk about character, one issue that comes up — A LOT, is the dad’s role in the character training of his kids.  In today’s episode I am happy to be sharing some clips of an interview with my husband on that very topic!  Dave touches on some of the things he believes have been most powerful in his own experience raising character-rich kids: From modeling, to teaching kids God’s Word, discipline, and authentic communication.  I hope you enjoy! (and I hope the men out there can listen, too!)

If you enjoy these clips then you’ll want to head over to the Character Training Course homepage where you can check out all that is in the course, peek at the modules, read what Beta Group Members have to say about the course, and…sign up!

Remember:  The Character Training Course is self-paced…meaning you can take your own sweet time going through the modules. You’ll also have full access to anything I add in the future. 💃🏼

Speaking of Dads….Course members will get access to a video interview interview with my husband, as well as an audio interview with Jonathan Pitts (father to 4 daughters!) and plenty of other resources which will be helpful to dads.  Keep in mind, my husband helped me with every step of creating the Character Training Course, so I hope a lot of the dads out there will take part in it.

Find a couple images you can share to point people to the course at the bottom of this post!

You can  find the Boy Mom Podcast on all of the podcast platforms…here are just a few of them:

iTunes (now called Apple Podcasts)

Google Play

Spotify

Or you can listen right here! 🙂

      Hi Kristen,
I should go back and listen in case I’m forgetting something, but pretty sure Dave is referring to reading through the Book of Proverbs in the Bible — one chapter a day (there are 31 chapters in Proverbs so it’s an easy way to read through the month!) That’s what we’ve had our sons do!
      Hope that helps. 😉 blessings-
