Let’s Talk Middle School Boys! {Episode 67 with Maggie John}
Hey Friends! This week we continue in our series — celebrating every stage of raising boys…FROM THE BABY YEARS…to ALL GROWN UP!
And today we get to talk about one of my very favorite stages of boyhood: THE MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARS! 🎉 I just love these sweet, funny, awkward years so much. And, I’m so happy to have my new friend, Maggie John join me for this conversation.
One of my hopes for this series was to get to know moms from all different places, raising boys in a variety of school and life situations. Maggie definitely brings a cool perspective to the conversation as she is two-boy momma who also happens to be a television show host (what!?) in Canada! So fun!! Maggie’s boys go to a public, Catholic school, and Maggie and I get real about the joys of these middle school boys (they’re funny! — and getting so smart, too!) as well as the challenges (cell phones, bad influences…) I hope you feel like you’re hanging out with us for this conversation!

Just seeing the boys all different levels of maturity some as still some innocent and tiny and others look like almost men- going through awkward phases but they can all just hangout together and be boys!
Middle school age is so awkward for kids. I remember my big bangs, wearing braces, and some of the boys’ voices starting to change.
One word…braces!
