3 Things to do before the New Year (& Merry Christmas!)

That awkward week between Christmas and New Years… 

Mele Kalikimaka!  Merry Christmas from Hawaii!  Whether you catch this on Christmas day (I’m so honored!) or a bit later, today I am sharing some thoughts on that strange week between Christmas and New Years, as well as THREE THINGS I suggest you do before the New Year begins!

I’m keeping this short and sweet, but I think the tips in this episode will prepare you well for an intentional, faith-filled start to your new year.

Jeremiah 29:11-14:
¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.¹² Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.¹³ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you,” declares the Lord.”

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Another Scripture to pray: Psalm 139: 23-24
23 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
