The Best Sugar Free, Gluten Free, Moist and Delicious Brownies

  • 2 unsweetened chocolate baking bars each 8 ounces
  • 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 packed cups of dates pitted and chopped.
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts optional


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Use coconut oil or light cooking spray to coat a 9X13 baking pan.
  3. In a food processor or strong blender, pulse chocolate bar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Mix until chopped well but not a fine powder.
  4. Add dates and pulse well.
  5. Add eggs, coconut oil, and vanilla until mixture is combined evenly. Add nuts if desires. Stir to check consistency; some small lumps are normal.
  6. Transfer to baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes. Edges will begin to darken and pull away from pan slightly.
  7. Let cool before serving.
