Basil Almond Pesto.

  • 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • 3-4 cloves garlic. to taste, minced or chopped
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Combine the basil leaves, garlic, and almonds and parmesan cheese in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. With the food processor running on low-medium, add the lemon juice and the olive oil until it forms a smooth consistency.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Toss with pasta, spread on warm bread, or eat by the spoonful. :) ENJOY!
