As I publish this post, I am in Huntington Beach, with a full day of Luke’s National Surf contest in front of me. He just won his first heat (yay!) but there are many more to go…This stuff can make a momma old quick. 🙂 Fortunately we are having a lot of fun in between the contests, and you can always follow along on Instagram for stories sharing our days!
While I’ve been away, I received something in my inbox that I thought would be good to pass on. I hear from a lot of parents of teens who are really trying to work on a healthy relationship with their kids. Yet they feel stuck. And discouraged. And that is a terrible feeling.
Sometimes I think we are too far into the forest to see the tress in our parenting. Stepping back a little to regain perspective can be so helpful . Hopefully this infographic will give you a chance to do just that.
